Verified Seller / Vendor Document Requirments
- Business Registration Certificate (with business No and business registration address and owner name)
- UTR copy ( unique taxpayer reference)
- VAT (if you registered with VAT/ GST)
- Halal authorised Product Registration Certificate (If your selling not 100% vegetarian product, if you are intending to sell Halal meat , poultry or other Halal Animals product) excluding sea animals product . note !for sea animals : at our Marketplace strictly not allowed cold blooded vertebrates animal meat or products ( if documents are not in English please provide with English translation)
if your country have same documents but not absolute same, then please provide in English translation, registration verify procedure will consider by individual circumstances.
After provided complete documents, Registration confirmation decision time approximately 12 hours to 24 hours for week days and for weekend days maybe 48 hours

Halal Food Chain UK/ halalfoodchain.co.uk is a B2B Multi Vendors Bulk sales and marketing platform for Trading Halal Food and Products, to have satisfaction of our buyer or consumer for who like Halal Food and products. Thus when you list a product , we will need to approve this product and after a approval your product will be listed at our marketplace and your shop.
After you list a product or item it need a product/item approvel. Approvel time is from 4h to 24h , if the product will not listed you will receive a message for more confirmation may required.
When listing food items that are allowed, sellers must follow
- Ensure food items are properly packaged and stored safely
- If your product or item contain any kind of Halal Animal, Poultry, Seafood,( meat, ingredient or product), then you have to provide a permission of ( selling, manufacturing, packing. making, distributing) Halal product certificate from a registered halal food authorised organisation. (the organisation who is Issue a Halal product certificate must be follow the rules of Islamic shariah zabiha (slaughtered animal’ is the prescribed method of ritual slaughter of all lawful halal animals by Islamic rules ) according to the ( 4 basic main schools of Islamic jurisprudence ),the certificate must be updated time by time.
- If your product contained any non vegetarian or halal (animal, poultry, seafood) ingredient then you have to put a stamp of halal and provide us a halal certificate details are upper mentioned.
- If your product are contained 100% vegetarian ingredients you have to mention by Vegetarian sign on the individual product packing .
- If your product contained any kind of nuts ingredients you have to mention allergy caution (may contain tree nuts)
- If your product contain any specif ingredients or specif kind of peoples which is not usually used you have to clear mention it for example( Dietary food and etc)
- Clearly state the expiration date in the item description
- Ingredients must be clear mention.
- State how perishable items will be delivered, and ensure they are delivered to the buyer before the expiration date
- Before selling food items, you must register your business with the UK local authority.

When listing food items that are allowed, sellers must:

Activity that doesn’t follow company policy could result in a range of actions including for example: administratively ending or cancelling listings, hiding or demoting all listings from search results, lowering seller rating, buying or selling restrictions, and account suspension. All fees paid or payable in relation to listings or accounts on which we take any action will not be refunded or otherwise credited to your account.
